I had a wonderful 21st birthday this year. Initially, I had plans to throw a big big party, but due to budget limitations, I resorted to what's available. My birthday celebration was split into a few sessions. 1st session was with my Mom's side of family which was a week before the actual date as I was on holidays in my hometown.

I still wasn't feeling that well on that day after having a sore throat on the 2nd day after getting back to Malacca. But luckily, its not the H1N1. I still managed to drag myself out to the pre-celebration with my coursemates. It was a simple and nice dinner.

I'm finally home yesterday. After a not so pleasant trip on the way. Anyway, its nice to be home. I was too tired to blog last night. Well talking about the unpleasant trip I had, when I was dozing off the whole bus shook like crazy and the driver immediately stopped beside the road. Knowing that there's something wrong with the bus, I was like WTF?!?! These stupid buses are giving me bullshit again?? I just had enough of bus breakdowns. I've experienced air-cond. malfunction, engine problems and stuffs. We were asked to get off the bus for them to fix it and I found out that 2 tires were blown, and 1 of them was seriously damaged. What if this happens on the hilly roads near Ipoh?? I dare not imagine. They had to fix new tires onto the rim on the spot and the whole thing took us 2.5 hours before journey continues. Buses in Malaysia are lousy, in terms of service, cleanliness and safety. People's life are at stake!! Hello, IDIOTS!! They simply do not do their routine maintenance on the buses, only to fix them when they break down in the middle of nowhere. Cockroaches could be found on most of the buses. Many of the bus drivers drive recklessly and dangerously. And yet bus operators are asking for an increase in the fare. Even traveling by air is cheaper nowadays. I'm taking a plane next time. In fact I fly back from KL most of the time. Buses here are hopeless.

Mid-terms exam ends means that I'm going on a 1 week break. YAYS!!! I wanted to go home so much and I need to make sure that I'm able to cancel some items from the list in the previous post. I'm still sick so I'd better get some good rest back home, the most comfortable place for me. The A(H1N1) flu is so serious in Malacca these days. Btw, I'll be taking the 9.30pm bus back home and will be reaching the place I grew up in at around 6am tomorrow. I'm so excited to sleep in my own bed. Haha. Mom is waiting anxiously for me to get home too (p/s: good chance to ask for a wallet reload) ^^, so does everyone in the family. I missed grandma's cooking too..

Mid-terms are over and I screwed my last paper today. Arrgh.. Never mind that as I'm starting my 1 week holiday this Saturday but I can only go back home tomorrow night because there is a lab session I need to attend tomorrow afternoon. There is so much to be done during this holiday and I hope I can get everything done by then.

Yays!! The new iPhone is coming out this Friday. But I still don't have enough money to buy it yet :( I need to sell my current iPod Touch 2G 16GB, top up quite an amount to get the new baby I craved for. It's more convenient to carry only an iPhone rather than a phone and an iPod. Plus I want to stay connected to the internet when I don't have wifi around. Going online with an iPhone/iPod touch is the best online experience on a mobile device. With an iPhone, I can check mails and update my twitter without having to search for wifi here and there (Holding the device up high and moving around to get the signal). Looks stupid indeed. Haha. I want an iPhone!!! I will definitely get one.

Went to the photo lab nearby looking for slide film today but too bad I can't find 'em. Cross processed slide films are so cool. The shopkeeper told me that its hard to get slide film in Malacca. I will try in KL or might get them through the internet. I need them before going to Langkawi next 2 weeks. Anyway, I got a roll of normal negatives instead for test shoots before moving to the more pricey slides. My cam is now loaded and ready for shooting. I find loading films a little bit challenging as I've never touched an analogue camera for quite some time. Anyway, I managed to get it done in a while. I'm now waiting for my 1st set of photos to come out. Let's wait ^^

Seems like this place is dead again for almost 2 months. Apparently my effort to update it everyday failed, even though I tried hard. I was busy these days that I don't have time to blog. Just managed to tweet on twitter. Anyway, I'm kinda into Lomography these days while my cousin was playing with lomo since few years back. To start my new hobby, I need a new gear and hence, it is the Blackbird, fly (BBF) TLR (Twin Lens Reflex) camera. Thought of getting a Diana at first, but decided on BBF because of the 135mm film compatibility. The camera arrived today via courier service and once I got back from class, I immediately ripped open the package, and freed the 'bird' from its cage. Although its the plastic version of the a lot more expensive Lubitel, the built quality was quite good. Too bad I don't have slide films with me. Will get them as soon as possible as I cant wait to shoot and see the results after processing. Bear with me a lil'. I'm lomo-obsessed.

This blog is again dead for a month. Life was so busy since the starting of this semester and I'm too busy (lazy) to blog. I was badly sick last week due to prolonged period of lacking sleep I guess. And now I have learned to take care of myself better. I'd like to thank those who were by my side when I was sick, especially my mom who came all the way as she was worried that I might get dengue. Besides being sick, there is something that I'm happy with. My new lappie that I've been waiting for a month for that stupid shop to deliver and I ended up buying from another store with a better deal. Still in the midst of getting used to a Mac but eventually I'm getting accustomed to it now, after being a Windows user for more than a decade. It's time for a change. However, I still miss the 'START' button. Haha..

And there was this book fair near my sister's house when I dropped by on the way back to my hometown so my mom and I decided to give it a look. There were so many books and it was total madness. Books were selling at a low price. People were searching all over for the books. I wished I had more time there to explore. We spent 2 hours there and I managed to get 4 books. It's high time I started reading and cut down all those junk activities. I'll bring a book with me whenever I go somewhere now so that I could read it when I have free time. I bought a book about vodka cocktails, and with my bottle of vodka I asked my friend to buy for me, I'm gonna start mixing things up, hopefully it tastes OK. Who wants the 1st try??

Some small quarrels happened in my family. Hope everything turns out fine soon. My laptop was broken. The cpu cooling fan ain't spinning so it gets hot very fast and eventually shuts down to prevent damage to the system. It might be jammed by dust, or maybe the cable was loose due to the drop on the luggage scanner conveyor belt in the airport that day, or the fan was dead. Hopefully it was not the last one as it might take some time to look for a replacement fan. Got to take it for servicing on Monday and by the mean time, I'll have to rely on this super slowpoke desktop. It's so inconvenient without my laptop. Or maybe it's time for me to get my Macbook?? Haha.. Still broke now.

I woke up this morning and waited for Ken to fetch me from home. After breakfast with another 2 friends, Ken and I went for a swim. I got out from the car when we reached the pool and was waiting for Ken to get out. I jumped down from the pavement and *ouch*, I hurt my left ankle. My right foot was already in pain since I was in KL. Now I hurt the other one. Great =.=

Oh ya, I managed to sleep at 12 something yesterday night. That's the earliest time I went to bed in these 2 months. Seems like I've achieved one of my new year's resolution. Just need to keep it up and maybe adjust the time a lil bit earlier. Haha. I doubt that!!! Sleeping early tonight as well as I don't wanna wake up tomorrow and find out it is already noon!!!

A year has just passed, and this year seemed to be a pretty fast one. As I finished my pre-U at the end of 2007, and was waiting for the intake in June, I worked from January till May in a kindergarten. Working in a place full of kids is sorta tiring, but fun as well. And throughout my days there, I somehow made the kids like me (Not boasting). They asked their teacher why I was not there after I left for studies. Haha.. I do visit them when I get back home so that they will not forget me. Hehee.. Not to forget mentioning that I took 2 weeks off my usual routine and went to China to visit my aunt there. She lives in a village which was quite 'ulu'. I couldn't get used to it but somehow it was a good experience. It was soo cold over there because the snow storm that happened early this year was about to begin and I was lucky not to be trapped by the storm and spending my Chinese New Year in China. I'll lose all my 'angpaus'. Living in a village in such weather where you don't have proper facilities is tough. That's how I spent my 1st half of the year, doing the same thing everyday, living slumberly in my comfort zone. The happy days at home went through so quickly, that I barely noticed.

And it was time to leave home again for studies. What's worse is this time I'll be going further from home than KL to Malacca where I don't have friends and relatives there. Unlike in KL, where I had alot of places to go, and lotsa peepz to hang out with, be it my buddies or cousins. I suddenly felt that I missed KL so much after being here. And I was complaining about KL when I was there last time. Ironic huh?? Like it or not, the fact is I'm already here. What makes things worse is when I found out that one of my good friend that came here with me is withdrawing as he got an offer from a local uni. I was so doomed for like a few weeks. Moody and lonely I was, in a place that I'm not even familiar with. It took me months, to recover from all this crap. I don't have a close friend here, I don't like the place as well. There are so few places that I can go when I'm bored, unlike in KL. Not to mention that I don't even have a transport to ferry my lazy ass around. So I'm walking everyday, and didn't notice that I got slimmer. I wanted a car so badly!! By the way, thanks to those who provided me support. There are too many names to name. By now, after half a year, I'm used to this place, and I got a couple of friends. That makes my life better. Another 3.5 years to spend here, so I'd better live the fullest outta it.

Previewing 2009

Well, hopefully it will be a great year ahead, despite the current financial crisis hitting the rest of the world by next year. A new year, a new ME, a better ME. My 2009 resolution would be

Drink more water - I've been drinking very less water all this while and it's not good for health.
Sleep earlier - Hopefully I could sleep at 12am or 1am the latest. Have been sleeping at 2 or 3am these days.
Be more humble
Make more friends - I seriously need to meet more people.
Try not to spend too much ( But this is unlikely to happen as I cannot stand it when I see something I like, and I am eyeing on the new macbook now )
Study harder (tsk tsk)
Be a happier person
Spend more time with my family

So I think that's all. Afterall I might not be able to follow all of those above, so no point of having too many. Lol.

Went out with the chicks and hanged out at Laundry Bar. However I was terribly late because I had to search for a parking space at the car park. As I was driving my sister's car, I thought it's better not to park at the non-designated parking space. So I continued searching, still hoping to find a spot. But turned out that after many rounds and rounds I made, all the illegal parkable spaces were filled up as well. My fault for not parking there at the first place. After 45mins I finally found a space next to the entrance where I could park the car. But still, it's illegal. If I'd continue searching, I think I might as well go home and watch tv. I hurried to the meeting place after parking the car. My friends already finished their entree when I reached. And when I wanted to order, the waiter said: "I'm sorry sir, all the food is sold out". I was like WTF??! It's just 9pm. Since there is no more food, my friends offered me theirs because they can't finish. And I swallowed the desserts which is my favourite bread butter. By that time I was already full. I ordered a drink, sat for a while, took some pictures and left Laundry to have a walk at the flea market. It was packed, but there ain't any Xmas mood so we decided to go to another place. When I tried to get my car, I couldn't find it. So I borrowed my friend's car and drove around the car park to find my car like a crazy person. I was in a hurry that I didn't really looked at the pillar number when I parked. After half an hour, I found it. I was so happy as I was worried that it might get stolen. If that really happens, then I'm so dead. We left to another place and had the countdown there. We left the place 1.5 hours later.

25 Dec 2008 Xmas
Woke up at almost noon and had lunch at home. My sis suggested that we go out to grab some snacks at 4pm when she saw the chips I was eating while watching tv is finishing. So we decided to visit the new Giant at Kota Damansara. My aunt and uncle followed as well. Reached there in a while. It's kinda big. I was lucky to get a parking somewhere near to the entrance. Why I'm not that lucky on Xmas eve? Haha. Upon entering the entrance, I saw the new Honda City on display there. It is soooo nice. I'd be so happy if mummy were to buy it for me. LOL. We headed to the hypermarket straight after a quick peek at the City. I suggested that I make fried spaghetti and we bought pasta. My elder sis then called and said that she'll be coming over with her family and my 2nd sis suggested that we throw a small Xmas party at home. We then hurried to grab all the necessary stuffs as there will be about 10 person eating. It was so crazy to have an unplanned party. But it was fun. We went straight home to start preparing after buying the stuffs. With so many people helping, we managed to prepare spaghetti, fresh garden salad and grilled chicken wings (they were pre-marinated when we bought them as we have limited time) in an hour. Dinner was great, and went well with red wine. Everyone left at 11pm after cleaning up. We were tired but satisfied.

26 Dec 2008
Woke up at 8am to fetch my sis to the train station coz she left her car for me. So sweet.. But then she said her bf will fetch her to work and I went back to sleep. Woke up at 11am and prepared to go out and meet Jason. I didn't meet him for quite some time. On the way I called my other cousin who's living nearby Jason's place to have lunch with him. He had friends around so he couldn't leave. I arrived at Jason's house in half an hour. Luckily I still remember how to get to Subang. I had lunch at that area before going to Sunway Pyramid. Parking space, as usual is hard to get but I managed to find a place. This time I snapped the pillar number with my phone. Haha lesson learned. It's good to shop over there. I bought a Renoma T for RM 34, a pack of Renoma limited edition underwear and my cleanser. Everything cost me about 100 bucks. Satisfied with what I got, we left at 4.30pm as I need to pick my sis from the Kelana Jaya station at 6pm and I was worried that there might be a jam. As I was exiting the car park, my cousin in Subang called and said his mom asked me to go to his house. So after dropping Jason, I went to my cousin's house as its just behind Jason's house. I went into the house and greeted my aunt. While I was walking into the dining area, suddenly someone sprung out. I was shocked a lil. But after knowing that it's Win-ni (my another cousin who was in London for 1.5 years), I screamed in surprise and happiness, and we hugged each other. I was chatting with her on live messenger the night before and she was still in London. The next thing I know she was in front of me. They laughed at my reaction. Haha. I stayed for a while and left to fetch my sis. At night, Win-ni came to surprise my eldest uncle and her family. Everyone was surprised to see her as she planned to come back at June next year initially.

27th Dec
Went to fetch Win-ni to my sis's house at noon. Then later in the afternoon, my eldest sis came over with her family again with my mom who was also in town for business trip. And the surprise thingy goes on again. At night, I went out with Win-ni to surprise a friend of us after sending my mom to the bus station. The plan failed due to some circumstances. And we were late because of the jam in KL. Had supper and went home.

JB - Day 1 (19 Dec 2008)
Left for JB at 9am and reached there at 12 noon. Waited for 45 mins for my cousin to come pick me from the bus station coz he has something to do. We went for lunch and then straight to his office as he has something to do. I was tired that I slept there as I slept late the day before. After that we went to a massage centre. I was asked to to change into a pair of shorts. Then a middle aged aunty came to start the massage. She started from my neck and then down to my shoulders and back. She then slipped my shorts and underwear down exposing half of my ass. WTF. And my butt was molested by a middle aged woman. =.= But it's clean mind you. Then she mounted me so that she could exert more pressure. It was so awkward. After that she kneeled on me and used her knees to massage. I was so worried that I would hear something break and found out that it's my bone. Haha. It all ended in an hour and I was more tensed than relaxed. But after that massage, my neck and shoulder loosened up a little. Haha. Went straight to the bistro with my cousin and his friend, Eddy, after the massage. Stayed there for 4 hours. After having dim sum for dinner, went to a Cabana to celebrate my cousin's friend's bday and I was damn bored. The club was lousy and I didn't know any of his friends. After reaching home at 2am, I went to bathe straight away as my body stinks with the smell of cigarette. Juiced up all my portables and went to sleep.

JB - Day 2 (20 Dec 2008)
Woke up kinda early at 9am but continued to sleep until 1030am. My cousin was making breakfast - Sphagetti Goreng. His own recipe. Its easy to prepare and tasted good. I'm gonna try making it my own next time ^^. I continued with my work I brought along after eating. At 2pm, we went out to fetch my cousin's girlfriend, a nice taiwanese lady and he brought me for lunch. Came back home and continued with my work again. There's so much to do. After a nap from 4-6pm, we left home for dinner. We had ikan bakar. It was good. Went back home after dinner and continued working until 230am and I called it a day.

Woke up at 11am as a result of sleeping late. I bathed and got ready to leave. 3 of us went for lunch. It was a normal meal but the food is good as well. My cousin is good in food hunting and I won't ever get hungry while with him. After lunch we headed to Jusco Tebrau to kill some time as its too early to go to the station for my 3.30pm bus. It was not bad but not very interesting. At least better than the Jusco in Malacca. Wait till the new Jusco in Malacca is completed then we'll see. We left for the bus station early and I waited for a while there before boarding the bus. I slept throughout the journey and reached home safely by 7pm.

Well there isn't nothing much in JB except for food. Its just to visit my cousin actually. Haha. Plus, I got some pocket money from him. I didn't wanted to accept it but he insisted. So I complied. Haha..

Today is the grand opening (not so grand I think) of the APPLE AUTHORIZED CAMPUS STORE in my school. Yays!!! Not bad yeah. I was indeed surprised. I did see a shelf for iPods but didn't expect it to be an Apple store as the sign board doesn't show any sign of apples and I thought it was just another computer shop selling iPods. The shop was quite nice. And the most inportant thing is, the have all the Macs on display, consisting of the iMac, MacBook, MacBook Air and MacBook Pro and I feasted myself there. They even have a few iPhones in the shelf. But there's only the iPod shuffle and nano for people to play with. No sign of touch and classic. Maybe its still new and the stocks are not ready yet. They sell accessories such as cases and bags too. There are also HP laptops. Well having an apple store in campus is so cool and I can get apple stuffs easily. And that will be one of my favourite places in school. BUT BUT.. it will make me spend more by tempting me to go inside and get something. Sigh.. For now, I'm so deeply in love with the MacBook.

Yesterday was very tiring, but it was a happy day. I went to class from 9am till 7pm. And the happy thing was our drama presentation in the afternoon. We were the 1st group to present and everyone was so nervous as we barely had enough time so set up everything. Everyone in the group tried their very best during the drama. Although its was a bit of a chaos, but everything was handled. After the drama, the crowd cheered and we were all so relieved that our hard work pays off. Our lecturer gave good comments on our drama, and good comments come with full marks. Haha. We were the best group that day. I would like to thank all my group members for all the contributions they have made. Without all of you, this wouldn't be a success. My friends and I left the class at 6pm as the pretty-boy lecturer can't teach and we don't wanna waste our time there. Went for dinner and back home. We headed to the library at 8pm after some rest and continued with our drawings so that we could study for the upcoming test on Thursday. 2 more drawings to go. Came back home at 12am and watched my newly downloaded movie till 3.30am before calling a day off.

Went to Penang to visit my aunt and her family with my parents, especially the little ones. They are sooo cute. Visited Gurney plaza and checked out the new wing. It's small and nothing much. Bought 3 cute toothbrush holders there. Had dinner at my aunt's house and went to Queensbay Mall with my mom to get her shoes. I got a pair for myself too, courtesy of my mom. Hehe. Before leaving, managed to get a look of Linda Chung, the pretty Hong Kong star. Went to Haagen Daaz and bought a pint of my favourite Macadamia Nut ice cream back.

Grandma cooked laksa for me. It was so good. At night, went out for tomyam with some friends before watching Transporter 3 at the new cinema. It's good. As usual, it showcases the Audi well.

Woke up in the morning to fetch my grandma to the market. After that went for breakfast with another friend. Was supposed to have my hair cut at 1.30pm and that bloody feller didn't even opened his shop when I reached. Called him and he said he was on his way. Waited for 20 mins and he still didn't show up. I left and decided not to visit his shop again. After that, I went to electrical shops with my mom coz she wants to get a new fridge. Sent my mom home and went to another shop for haircut. It took 2.5 hours as there were many people. There goes my last few hours at home before leaving to Malacca.

Reached Malacca at 0630 in the morning and feeling tired as usual as I couldn’t sleep well in the bus. The bus was freaking fast that I cannot sleep with peace. Continued sleeping after reaching my house until 11am. Woke up and went for lunch at 12pm with some friends. After class at 2pm, my sis called and asked me out for lunch as she was passing by Malacca from JB on the way back to KL. She intended to call for fun as she thought I was still in hometown. Wahahha.. So since she called, then she gotto come and bring me out for lunch. Went for chicken rice balls with my sis and her family. The best shop in town was closed so we went to another one instead. Went for a walk at Jonker and headed to Tan Kim Hock as my sis wanna do some shopping. Stuffs there are freaking expensive so I didn't buy anything. After having durian cendol, they sent me back to school for my test at 8pm. And as a result of going out instead of studying, I did badly. But its mainly due to lack of time. Nevermind. Slept at 1am because my friend came over to my house after my test.

Woke up late. And my phone got barred!!! I didn't even wanna talk about the whole incident that happened because of my barred phone. Too lazy. I called my mom once I got hold of my friend's phone and asked her to pay my bills ASAP as it's very inconvenient without a phone. I've reminded her and yet she forgot. Haha. That's her.. Rushed to school and had breakfast in 15 mins before heading to class. That's all because of my barred phone. Found out that my group's presentation is on next Monday. GREAT...zz So soon and I had so many things to do now. Well basically my timetable runs from 9am - 7pm next Monday as I have lab session in the morning + presentation in the afternoon. WTF!! After reaching home, I found out that there was no water supply. Apparently, the stupid guard turned off the mains and forgot turn 'em back on. So the tank was empty. Waited for an hour for it to refill and 'mud water' resumes. The water is so yucky and I dared not cook tomyam noodles my mom bought from Thailand for me. Ate bread with kaya instead. I love the kaya made by my grandma. Finished off the last episode of Prison Break Season 4 and wasted few hours on the internet instead of drawing the 6 drawings due next week. There will be another 4 tomorrow. So I'll need to finish off 10 drawings by next Thursday.

Was so busy that I didn't even managed to post for the past 2 days. Rushing to meet the deadline of submission of my Engineering Graphics was so hectic. It's so tiring as well. I'm glad it's now done.

Wed, 3rd Dec
Had only 2 hours of class instead of 4. Went back home right after class at 1pm. Checked mail and read some blogs and then started to prepare for the test at night. It was a 40 MCQ test so I finished it in a while. After the test, I went to my friend's house to continue with my forever-unfinished-drawings. I had a little left where I don't know how to do it. After I did what I knew, I waited for my friends to finish theirs. We started from 10pm and ended at 2am. Went home, bathed, printed the assignment for submission and slept at 3am. Another night of sleeping late. Those drawings really made me go nuts. Feel like beating someone while drawing and my lecturer comes to mind in the 1st place for giving us so much work.

Woke up at 9.30am and missed the replacement class that I intended to go before knowing that I would sleep that late the night before. Sleeping is more important. LOL. Rushed to school without bathing and continued to finish off my drawings before class at 12pm. Had a quick lunch and rushed to class to submit my untidy work. Another 6 more drawings this week and they were much harder than the previous ones. Give us a break would ya?? However we were given 2 weeks to complete them. Thank god. Class ended an hour earlier at 3pm. I'm glad that the fast paced week has caome to an end, at least temporarily before another week begins. And my heart once again slowed down to its normal rate. Went back and prepared to go home. Yays!!! I'm going home. My friend fetched my another friend and I to the bus station at 6pm. Had my 'Move It Meal' at McD and waited till 9.30pm for my bus to leave. Thought of going online and blogging there but the stupid wifi ain't working. The bus came and I boarded. Going to say hello to my home in no time :-)

In the mood of drinking black tea

I noticed that keeping the blog updated ain't an easy task. No wonder so many bloggers were in pressure. As for me, I don't have many bloggies so I need not worry about what to write, I just don't have time. Woke up early this morning for drama practising despite sleeping late yesterday. I was so sleepy but dragged myself to the bathroom and got cleaned up. My friend then called and told me that many of the members cannot come and the thing was cancelled. I was like WTF!!! I woke up that early for nothing.

Since I was awake, I had breakfast and went to the library to work on my Engineering Graphics homework, which is technical drawing. Its complicated, hard, time and energy consuming. ARRGH!!! Its due on thursday and I still havent complete it now. While I was in the library, I tried to make my iPod work with the WPA secured wifi in the campus but failed. I went to the IT department 2 days ago and the assistant there asked me to try myself based on the website with instructions. But there are no instructions for iPods mind you. Only for Mac OS X. Durrhh...=.= I really wanna go online in school when I'm bored in the library. I will find a way to make it work!!!

After classes at 6pm, a friend of mine gave us a ride to the nearby hawker centre to buy dinner. I bought Ipoh bean sprouts chicken rice. Its ok but those in Ipoh are far better. After reaching home, the first thing I did is to turn on my laptop as it is soooo slow. It takes 20 mins to boot up to idle. WTF!!! Even playing movies and songs is choppy. It might be due to some virus or HDD problem or whatever. I don't know. I am so lazy to reformat as backing up files is so troublesome and I'm freaking busy. Maybe I'll do it this weekend. I don't have extra cash for a brand new lappie (who wanna get me the new Macbook?? Haha..) , so I must be very patient now. I must not lose my temper while waiting.

I plugged in my iPod for recharging and syncing and feasted on my meal while checking mails and stuffs (waiting most of the time). After syncing, I realised that all my applications were gone. Something's wrong with iTunes as it automatically unchecks all my applications to sync. I had to reinstall them into my Poddy and rearrange them into order of my preference. Arranging took me almost 2 hours.

After food I had sea coconut as my dessert. Had not had dessert since last 2 weeks in Marche where my cousin treated us lunch. The cakes were good. And I started reading emails after that. My assignment group member sent me an email with that part he was supposed to do so that I could compile them together. He gave me 20+ pages from wikipedia a day before expecting me to summarize it for him. And as if I'm so dumb that I don't know how to copy and paste from Wiki. I texted and asked him to redo in quite a unpleasant 'tone' as I was so fed up that day with so much to do. That was just unbearable. Today he gave me as I wanted, 1 page. But that article is from the internet and I know it because I used it in the intro. The exact one. He changed 'sports' into 'badminton' and thinks it is a different thing. He didnt even read after editing.

I'll never be in the same group with him EVER!!

I thought of changing my blog template but still I HAVE NO TIME!! Wait till I'm free.. I really wanna change it. Sien already.. I still have test tomorrow night and I didnt even started studying. Great!!!
Have to find time in between classes to study or else I'll sure fling it.
I failed to sleep early again tonight. I think sleeping early shall be my next year's resolution. Haha.. Nights

Woke up late this morning and was in a hell of a rush as I was almost running late for lunch with my friend. So I texted him and postponed the lunch. After lunch I went to the library in my university to meet up with some friends for the discussion of our drama presentation. It took just a short while for me and I left them to continue with their scripts as I don't have any talking to do. Hee hee.. :p

After that, I waited for a friend to come and fetch us for a movie in the nearby cinema. We were supposed to watch Bolt in the beginning but too bad the seats were all sold out and we had to resort to watching another movie Twilight, which is a story about vampire and human love story based on a best selling novel. It is about how the vampire tried to protect his girlfriend from other vampires, how much she loved her. And I almost fell asleep in the cinema because I was tired. (Many said it's good and its up to you to decide. Don't blame me if you missed it) You can say that I'm not romantic or whatsoever. But I really don't fancy watching love stories in cinemas. I've watched some other love stories that were a lot better than this and I loved them. I then returned home, cooked instant tomyam noodles from Thailand (Yummy!!!! Those from Malaysia were no where near these) and enjoyed my episode of Prison Break. I wished I had the brains of Michael Scofield. LOL

Woke up at 6 this morning excited but tired as I did not have enough sleep. Every time I tell myself that I should sleep earlier but ended up sleeping at 1 or 2 am. I'm following a trip of my university visiting my ex-college. A place that I have many pleasant memories with my friends. And the reason I'm excited is because I will be meeting my buddies in KL soon. It has been quite some time since last I met them. Missed them a lot.

Reached KL after 2 hours in the bus. The seats were so uncomfortable that I could barely sleep. I tried to flee with my friends after we reached there but those committee forced us into the hall to listen to boring presentation. (I was there for 1.5 years and I don't need an intro about that place). There was a break after the short talk and I escaped. That guy tried to follow us but we were near to the door and he was toooo slow. Haha :p

After meeting up with my friends, we went for lunch. The food was good, the people were good. Everything is so enjoyable, especially when you have so much to talk about with your old pals.
After lunch, we went back to college and followed the bus to Times Square in KL. Of all the malls, why you choose that 1. I just can't get it. Since it was raining and no one was willing to go to Pavilion with me, I stayed put, sat down at Starbucks with a cup of ice blended and going online while waiting for them.

After coffee, I went down to the ground floor and there was an exhibition. Apparently, it was about AIDS awareness and to educate the public to show care to HIV patients. So I went to have a look with my friends. They set up something with walls like those 'ghost houses' you see in fun fairs. But there were no ghosts. Haha.. We were given an MP3 player as we were entering the place in which a narrator guides you through the exhibition with a story of a person. The narrator described about the story and instructs you to move forward where you can see the settings of the story told. This idea is nothing new in other countries where they are loaning iPods (Those I got weren't iPods LOL) in museums or galleries to guide visitors through with explanation. And it's the 1st time I see this in Malaysia. Kinda interesting. There was a part where it is a clinic and I was asked to go to the counter and put my hand on it. And a guy with a surgery mask (he sat there and looked so funny) there used a stamp and stamped a + on my hand, which means HIV +. WTF... Haha... My other friend got -. Not fair not fair!!!. But its fun larr.. After that we were given papers to leave notes for AIDS patients and fill up a survey and contact form. I was in a hurry so I passed that notes and survey part. Coz that needs time to think. I just filled up the contact form so that I will be informed about any activities going on in the future. Its good to help. I'm still considering about joining the Child Sponsorship Program by World Vision. Please support if you can. We had dinner at Subway after that and left for Malacca. The trip was darn crappy but I enjoyed the exhibition a lot. Its until 1st Dec 08 so anyone interested can go and have a look. Toodles..

Birthday is a day when you get attention from people around you. It feels so good. A simple and sincere wish is worth lot more than any present. The part I enjoyed most during my birthday is just merely getting wishes from my friends and family. Hearing my phone ringing continuously is just enjoyable.

I would like to say THANKS to all who wished me on my birthday.
Especially Jiay Yuan, Vivien, Keng Leong, Chu Hoong and Chwan Yeong who came all the way from KL to Malacca to celebrate with me as I couldnt get a bus ticket to KL. I was so touched and happy to see them. I'd say it was my happiest day in Malacca. I really smiled from deep inside my heart. After visiting my page, then only I realised that my blog has been dead for 2 months. What a period. That's the longest pause I suppose. But teapot-blog aint dead yet, just hibernating. I have limited internet access back there so I dun have the time to blog. I'm kinda adapting to uni life now, though the first few weeks were kinda tough. One look at my almost full planner, I find myself loaded with so many things. On the other hand, I can also say that I'm fully occupied and there's little time for me to feel the bore. I just had the CM session this year yesterday. Well, nothing much to say. To me, its hot and boring but still I had to go. So did I. And surprisingly, one of my cousins flew back from Argentina for CM. I was like 'WHOA'!!! So 'gengs'. CM in my family is not the usual big big family reunion like other families because many of my cousins were not there. Every year, its just a few cousins and with all the uncles and aunties (boring!!!). This year's CM was as usual. They are always late and not punctual. But there were nobody there when we reached as it was already a week past the actual date. I am so tired of the packed grave site. So it was good for me. Weather was fine, not too hot. We were lucky as it started to rain after we finished the prayers. Or else, I dont wanna imagine how wet we would be. After having lunch nearby, we went back to my aunt's home. End of story.

My phone is gone. Things got stolen from me these day. First it was my shoes, then now my phone. And I lost everything inside it, except my contacts which I have backup. Urrgh... Not feeling sad though, as it wouldn't help. Too bad the current iPhone is not good, or else I would have got it. But nevermind, I'll get a new phone soon. And one more thing, I just bought a bluetooth handsfree to use it with my phone, and now its gone before I had the chance to use it. Damn.

Got back home from my 10-day vacation finally. Home felt so good once again. The best place on earth is always home. After returning home, I started to appreciate the Malaysian weather, happy to see the sun, although it is scorching hot. China was so cold, in fact the coldest this year compared to the previous ones.

Days away from home:

Day 1 - 19/01/08 (Sat)

Reached the airport at 11pm and waited there for my flight at 5.50am. The airport is so boring but I had my lappie with me. Got a drink at coffee bean and tried numerous times to get that stupid wireless at the airport to work. It's just lousy. I had to move nearer to the router to get a stronger signal. Time passes quite easily while chatting and surfing. After boarding the plane, I found out that the legroom of the seats are so small. The journey was very uncomfortable. Cheap things are like that. Can't complain. Btw, I was trying to sleep in that uncomfortable seat as I didn't sleep the night before. Some jackass around 40-50 y/old a few rows ahead was speaking loudly throughout the flight. Cranking up the volume of my iPod didn't helped to cover his annoying voice. He was kneeling on the seat facing the passenger at the back and crapping. Perhaps he was too excited on his maiden flight. Haha. I think many people around him wanted to ask him to shut up too. The crew didn't ask him to sit down either. I was too tired, and slept (hardly) until I'm reaching my destination. We took a bus from the airport to the town area of GuangZhou. All luggages at the luggage compartment were tagged and you will have to present the slip given to you earlier to collect your luggage when you get down. I simply love this as I was always worried of my bags being lost while on bus in Malaysia. After checking in to the hotel, we hit the shopping hot spots such as Beijing Lu (北京路) and YiDeLu (一德路). The metro system there is a lot better than Rapid KL trains a.k.a Putra in KL.

Day 2 - 20/01/08 (Sun)
Visited one of my relatives in GZ. She treated us lunch. After that, we went for more shopping, wholesale shopping malls, where things are crazily CHEAP!!! I went to try out 双皮奶, as I always see people eating in TV. It was good. At night, we went shopping again at the ShangXiaJiu (上下九） pedestrian street. The Chinese New Year smell is in the air. The whole street is beautifully decorated with lanterns and decos. I also tried 冰糖葫芦（sugar coated strawberries) for the first time. I prefer uncoated ones. Just for the sake of trying.

Day 3 - 21/01/08 (Mon)
Started breakfast with porridge (艇仔粥). Again it was good. Went to ShangXiaJiu again because we didn't finish the other side of the street the night before as I was tired and my legs were screaming. After that, we walked to another street called ZhuangYuanFang (状元坊). The place was so packed and we walked out of it without stopping.

Day 4 - 22/01/08 (Tues)
After settling something, we had brunch in a restaurant and the food was delicious, and not too expensive. After that, we went to YiDeLu again to get something.

Day 5 - 23/01/08 (Wed)
Woke up in the hotel with a bloody flu. Feeling not so well. I had porridge nearby the hotel before going out. After some short shopping, I reached my limits and we went to the nearby McD for a break. It was so warm inside, while the outside was so cold. The cold wind is killing me. I bought a set meal and a cup of hot coffee. I tried the pies there also. Red bean and yam pies are my favorites. After resting for 3 hours there, we headed back to the hotel earlier for some rest.

Day 6 - 24/01/08 (Thu)
Went to my relative's house in the morning. She cooked us lunch. After lunch, we headed to the bus station to catch a bus to kampung, my kampung apparently. The bus ride was horrible. The journey took 5 hours, and the out-of-his-mind driver was sounding the horn every 5 - 15 seconds, everytime he was trying to overtake another vehicle, to prevent accident I suppose. Are chinese (as in china people) drivers blind or what? Have to use the horn so that they won't crash into you. After the terrible journey, I reached kampung at 6pm. My cousin went to the station to pick us up. When I reached my aunt's home, she was so happy to see us. It was so long since I last met her when she came to Malaysia. We had dinner shortly after arriving. I got to see the real kampung life. The kitchen is classic. They cook with wood fire, not a gas stove. Wow!! There are no washing basin, no heater. In this cold weather, it was so hard for me. Brushing my teeth was done at the toilet bowl. =.= Sleeping in the mosquito netting was another new experience. I'm not complaining too much, but the pillow was too hard and the super thick blanket was so heavy, I can barely move with that weight on my chest. But without it, I'm gonna freeze to death.

Day 7 - 25/01/08 (Fri)
It was raining when I woke up. This made the place even colder. We had breakfast in a restaurant later. After breakfast, we had a brisk walk at the small town, where people are selling things on both sides along the streets. In the afternoon, we went to my uncle's place to pray. Lunch was served there. I even got red packets because it was the 1st time I went back there.
Back in my aunt's house, I hid inside the room, under the covers as I cannot stand the cold. We even warmed our hand at the stove.

Day 8 - 26/01/08 (Sat)
We left the place after lunch. My aunt wanted me to stay longer, but its so boring, and I cannot tolerate the cold weather, and had to disappoint her. My relatives in kampung really treated us really really well. I'm like a king back there. They are very nice, simple and hospitable people. Its good being with them. The bus back to the city is not any better than the one we took to kampung, but there are less horns. After reaching the city, we went straight to the hotel and had a good bath, as kampung is too cold to bathe. We went to KFC for dinner because it is just in a mall on the other side of the road. The new burger and yam egg tart is quite good.

Day 9 - 27/01/08 (Sun)
Went to my relative's house again and we had lunch together at a steamboat restaurant. The food was good and it was the most expensive meal we had. After that, we went to her house for a while before going back to the hotel in the evening.

Day 10 - 28/01/08 (Mon)
I woke up feeling so excited as its time to go home!! We checked out of the hotel and headed to the airport. After 4 hours of uncomfortable flight again, I'm back in good, old KL. Suddenly, I fall in love with malaysia for a while. Haha.. After getting my results statement from the college, my sis sent us to take a bus back home. And by 12.30am the next day, I'm finally back in my own room. What a day!!

Waiting...waiting...and waiting. 5 more hours to go. I guess I'm not able to sleep, overwhelmed with excitement, partly because of I'm going on a plane. It's not like I've never been on one, its just that I simply love being on planes. Moreover, I can't actually fall sleep on chairs. Haha... Luckily the Coffee Bean in the airport is open 24 hours. For now, I'm waiting with my dose of caffeine. I should have ordered a hot one anyway. By the way, the wifi at the airport sucks. Took me hell load of effort to connect and finally I decided just to move closer to the wireless router (the next table). Even the wifi at the highway restaurant is far better. What a shame on Malaysia Airports!! Tick tock tick tock.... I hope I could fast forward time.

I mistook a drumstick for a hot air balloon in a preschool math book today. Those drumsticks are spaces for the kids to write numbers in. And when some kid told me its actually drumstick and not a balloon, I looked carefully, and laughed at myself and the author of the book, thinking what the hell on earth someone is putting a drumstick for kids to write in instead of a balloon (which is more normal). Meanwhile, the kids were laughing at me. Nasty. Haha..

I've finally got new shoes after my orange nikes were stolen buy some cheap-ass thief. Don't anyone dare to steal them again!! (plus you won't get a chance). The green nikes in my previous post is far too over my budget. So, I decided to try my luck on the pumas I saw that day. It wasn't on display in the shop, but I got lucky when I asked the sales person and she came out from the storeroom with what I wanted. What ran across my mind was: 'I'm getting u home today'. 2^ndday was a lot more fun for me. I think I'm getting on track. However, I still pass the dancing and singing session at the beginning. That's so not me. Anyway, I started teaching today. By drawing hell loads of apples on the board, I think I'll be a pro apple-drawer in a little, although my apples don't look like apples. Haha.. Anyway, they're just for the kids to count, so as long as they are in shape and clear, it shall do the work. Well, there's a girl who seems to have difficulties counting numbers, and it takes me more patience to count with her one by one. I never imagined myself to be in this. It pays to see her count correctly later. A friend gave me a bottle of paper birds, a good luck charm. Thanks. And at the end of the class, there was a 'samseng' boy, who was talking non-stop, saying that he'll ask his grandpa to cane all the teachers there. We were laughing like hell. And I call it a day after that.

Today is my first day teaching (or I might say helping out) at the kindergarten. Hell, I just think that handling kids is not my cup of tea, especially when there's a whole bunch of them. Kids nowadays are not like those when I was little. They are little monsters at times, running around, fighting and crying. Though, there are still some good and cute ones. I had totally no idea what to do with them at first, not like those girls who can be their good sister at any given time. *SALUTE!! But, I think I should be able to handle them. All I need is some time. I might be yelling and shouting at them by that time. *evil smile* Haha.. 2 more weeks to go. Anyhow, I think it's sort of a good experience. Hopefully something interesting is waiting for me there.

I had fun in Penang yesterday. With all my friends and all the yummy Penang food, it's the best I could have. I grew up with Penang food and of course, they are my all time favorite. We watched a movie, shop a bit (though I didn't get what i wanted YET) and had ice creams and sushi.

After visiting the education fair, many more options sprung out to me, making me more difficult to choose for myself. I've been procrastinating this since I finished high school. I was totally dead tired after having loads of fun at the water park with my friends yesterday. I particularly love the water slide where there is a steep slope at the beginning and then the next thing you know is you are projected up a high ramp before sliding down the ramp. Since the water park is small, that’s the only ride that thrills me. We also had a couple of swings at the driving range. Golfing isn’t that easy as it seems. Haha.. But I think I quite like to golf. It was a fun trip afterall.

After growing mushrooms at home since exams are over, its time for me to treat myself with something better. I had japanese buffet with a few friends. It so happened that today was the anniversary or whatever it is at the shop (what matters most is the promotion *evil smile) and ladies are entitled to a half price while guys get a free king prawn. Something funny happened while I was getting my reserved table for 4. There is a Vietnamese guy at the counter I suppose with some pronunciation problem, asking how many ladies are with us. He then asked me: '1 lady and 3 GAYS'??!! I was like shocked and at the same time feeling funny. Maybe gays can get a half price too!! Haha!! After eating, we were all full till as if our belly's ripping apart. We went shopping at Pavilion and I bought a new laptop bag before going home. By the way, I had the chance to play around with the new iPod Touch. It was Ooh la la~~. All I can say that its absolutely gorgeous. It costs more than a grand and looks like I need to start saving if i want one. But my current phone and iPod nano is still working good. Or I should wait for the iPhone to be available in Malaysia. I'm getting the iPhone i think...

I've been longing for this day to come. And I'm now free. Very free. Exams are finally over after a tedious 1 month period. However, I don't feel the thrill which I think I will earlier before exam ends. I just laughed to myself when it just ended. For now, I should be planning to go and have fun and play hard. In fact I've already planned everything earlier before exams are over. And not forgetting to pack my things and head back to home next week too. Today's Win-ni's birthday. Happy birthday!!!! However if you stare at the black ' +' in the center, the moving dot turns to green.

Now, concentrate on the black ' + ' in the center of the picture. After a short period, all the pink dots will slowly disappear, and you will only see only a single green dot rotating.

It's amazing how our brain works. There really is no green dot , and the pink ones really don't disappear. This should be proof enough, we don't always see what we think we see.

I've just finished watching One Liter Of Tears. Its a true-story based Japanese drama telling a story of a 15 year-old girl named Aya who was diagnosed with Spinocerebellar Degeneration (SCD). Its an incurable disease that affects the patients muscles and motor systems which will eventually lead to immobility, speech and swallowing difficulties. Despite of being ill, she was strong. She tried to walk as much as she could no matter how slow, no matter how it hurts when she falls until she could no longer stand on both of her legs. She accepted her illness and did not give up on herself. She made me realize how lucky and happy it is to be healthy. Even though something bad happened, we should be happy that we're still alive while many others are struggling to live each day of their lives. When we fall, all we have to do is to get up again. Her diary has helped and encouraged millions. I will learn to be happy with what I have, and cherish them. Aya, you are indeed an extraordinary person.

In the mood of drinking green tea

I'm dead tired today. Having slept for only 4 hours, I woke up this morning at 8.30, bathed, and studied while waiting for my mom to come pick me to the temple and pray. In the afternoon, I drove my mom's car to SP to repair the air-cond. I was driving on the highway without air-cond!!! Luckily is was windy and not too hot. After getting the car serviced, I had lunch with my cousin and headed back home. I wanted to study after bathing but I was so tired that I fell asleep without even studying a page. After some sleep, I went to dinner with some friends. Then we went to the arcade and had some fun. Gosh!! I barely studied today so I have to go study now. toodles.

It's like so long since I had a proper breakfast since the holidays. Breakfast makes me get out from my lazy bed early. I should have breakfast everyday then.

I'm outta 'study jail' temporarily at least. Been staying at home for the whole week prepping for exams. Exam are killing me. We'll I gotto use the car today and of course I'll use it. Went to my friend's cafe after dinner to meet up with some friends. Had fun :)

我们常常都会看着别人有多好，不断的在羡慕和崇拜别人。经常会听到一些女生说：“你看她多漂亮，身材多好，要是我有她一半就好了。”有些人却羡慕他人多富有，多成功，多幸福等。无可否认，我也会羡慕别人。羡慕他们想要什么就有什么，羡慕朋友们都可以出国到名校读书。电视经常有一个节目是专门数在外国明星艺人的身家。他们个个都有钱得不得了，住大洋房，豪华轿车不知有多少辆，有些甚至还有私人飞机。他们过着的豪华生活，除了被狗仔队烦着之外，相信几乎每个人都想吧。他们区区的一件首饰都值几百万。但相反的，当我看到非洲的那些受到饥荒和疾病折磨的孩子，我不禁感到悲伤。我在想，或许他们都很羡慕我目前平凡的生活吧。相比起来，我真的比他们幸福多了。要是把那些非洲的孩子和那些艺人相比，更是天渊之别。他们吃一餐，可能可以让非洲的孩子吃上好几个月。与其在羡慕别人，我倒不如把羡慕他人的精神，好好的利用在自己身上，或许我以后也可以成为别人崇拜的对象。哈哈。如果我真的有那么一天，我希望可以帮到有需要的人，这是我对自己的一个承诺。

生别人的气并不好受。明明知道如此，但偏偏有时候却不能不生气。事情往往就是不受你控制。有时候，你并不想生那人的气，因为他没犯了什么错，而是偶尔行动或举止上惹怒了你，根本就是一件芝麻绿豆的事。但是自己想着想着，却又生气起来了。听起来好像很矛盾。也许是自己胡思乱想吧。你曾试过没有任何理由的生气一个人吗？那个人并没有得罪到你，可是你总是看他不顺眼。我试过。或许你会认为我很奇怪吧。可能是我的问题。我也不懂。。。外婆时常对我说：年轻人要看开一点，不要动不动就生气，对自己不好的。我想，我也应该听听他老人家的劝导。
